Well, if you are getting your usual amount of sleep and you know you rested well because you remember dreams on occasion (they are a telltale sign of rem sleep which is the most effective), then the only other 2 issues are Stress and Endocrine disorder.
Stress and zap your energy to make you feel like you are dragging butt everyday all day long-stress management can help you.
Get a physical for the second issue- you can have an underactive thyroid condition or anemia which would cause the tiredness and sleepiness--- now if you only get these feeling around 2-3 in the afternoon, I would suggest a blood sugar problem because you may be eating too many carbs for lunch and the tiredness is due to trying to digest your lunches.

1. How much sleep do you get each night? If you aren't sleeping 8-9 hours, you aren't getting enough. Do you keep a regular sleep pattern?

2. What is the quality of your sleep? You could have sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome or some other sleep related illness.

3. Nutrition ... are you eating at least three meals a day and are you taking vitamins, B vitamins in particular? I know I have to take B-12 injections because my body doesn't absorb properly. You could also be anemic. Caffeine will mess up your sleep as well.

4. Depression will zap the life out of you as will diabetes. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and MS also drain one of energy.

5. Stress levels? Are you living in a pressure cooker? Are you getting enough exercise?

Time to visit your physician to get to the bottom of this.

Are you getting enough sleep? How many hours do you rest at night? Are you drinking to much caffeine late in the evening? Also are you getting enough vitamins?

These are just a few questions you need to ask yourself. There are many many reasons for why you are tired.

Stress is a big factor as well. May I suggest a trip to the doctors office to rule out the cause.

Are you getting enough sleep? Do you fall asleep with music playing, TV, or lights on. Even if it does not wake you up fully it can still interrupt your sleep. Make sure that your room is dark and quiet. If you need to fall asleep with music on put a CD in a player that turns itself off when it it reaches the end of it instead of starting over. Keep TVs out of the bedroom. Don't consume caffinated drinks less than 10 hours before bedtime. Caffine can stay in your system for up to 12 hours.

hi there,

There could be several reasons as to why you are so tired.
* you could be lacking in vitamins
* you may not be geting enough sleep
* you may be stressed
* you may have your routines all mixed up
* you may be fighting an infection

BUT i guess the biggest and most worrying thing is that you may be suffering from depression. Any in case please go to the Doctor as soon as possible and get checked out.

could be because you don't get enough sleep, or perhaps you are on a medication that tired and sleepiness are side effects.
If it is a chronic problem, then I suggest you ask a doctor.

You may want to consider taking up some exercise. This way your body will not feel tired so easily.
