Get iPhoto to start up without going to the main library?

Maybe this is an easy thing to change, but I'm too lazy to find out – is there a way to start up iPhoto without it going immediately to the library? This is both quite slow, and of course it shows every last one of my pictures to people, which I don't particularly want.

Well, you can't open it without going to the library, but you can put the photos in files in the macintosh hd and then open them by themselves.
