well i'm guessing hickory, it gives the turkey a nice smoked taste.

Alder, hickory, maple...the smoking point of these woods is higher so the turkey gets a more consistent smoking while they are consumed. They're also just plain tasty. :)

I've heard Hickory.

I know my brother in law uses mesquite and Hickory chips for hams....

I guess it would depend on what type of smoked flavor you want.

If you want to ruin it just use pine it will taste like turpintine! use a hardwood like oak or hickory

Wood Chips Walmart sells them not sure on the brand name though they work really good

depends on the flavor you like.mesquite and hickory for darker flavors
maple and apple for sweeter flavors
