I mean in terms that you've woken up Christmas morning and you actually did nothing because someone wouldn't let your family celebrate it?

Please tell me why the argument over words, just verbal greetings, used in stores and other places always seems to insinuate this.

Luckily this doesn't happen in this country. Others have been killed for it.

I'm so sick of this issue. No one cares what you celebrate at hom e or in your social life. But when you walk into a store, mall, workplace, etc, why do people have to be assaulted with a barrage of Christmas propoganda? How does it affect your life at all if you go to work in December and there isn't trees and candy canes all over the place? It doesn't! It belongs in your personal life, and it is offensive for those not involved who have to suffer through weeks of Merry Christmases and Christmas-mania. The whole holiday revolves around shopping, anyway!

A true Christian does not celebrate Christmas as a religious holiday.
The Bible does not tell us to celebrate Christ birth, just his death, and Resurrection.

Revelation 22:18-19
For I testify unto every man that hearth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall ALL unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
A Christian can celebrate the season of giving and family, but we are not allowed to bring such in to the house of worship or use it as worship to God.

Well, I guess when I went to visit a relative that was a Jehovah's witness, we couldn't do anything Christmassy because it was against the religion of the house.

I was okay with that. is a time when the family gets together. And since that was happening, it was still Christmas for me. Best wishes.

Christmas is pagan. The reason for the season is the birth of the unconquered sun. Saturnelia. Sol Invictus

Pegan, pegan, pegan, nothing about Christmas is "Christian". know nothing traditional christians think God gives a crap about Christ-mass which there is nothing in the Bible that says to celebrate it! It's a Catholic holiday instituted in rome by Pope Sixtus in 435.

It hasnt happened yet, but people haven't been trying to remove "Christmas" for very long either, and since many of us are restricted from saying "Merry Christmas" at our jobs or having "Christmas" parties I'd say it wont be long before minority rules yet again and makes it illegal to call it anything with religious overtones or display decorations with religious themes.

None, because true Christians do not celebrate Christmas. It is a pagan celebration that no true Christian has anything to do with.
