It all depends on the type of girl... Rock and metal might attract a woman who likes those types of music, same with country. But rap will attract a woman who likes to shake her booty! Rock, metal and country aren't the best mainstream dancing types of music. But mainly women prefer guys who aren't posers and who listen to good music, no matter what the genre. And maybe a little bit more sensitive music, John Mayer and such, that gets women the most, seeing a guy who has that connection in his soul.

Anything they can sing along to. I love country, rock, and metal. It depends definately on the song. Country can honestly be really great, and so can rock. Speaking from a womans point of view i am partial to rock and country just as my friends are. You have to make sure the country isn't too country. Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson, and Josh Turner are good. Rock is always great to sing to and have a good time with. Metal can be a little intense, but thats for me at least. It totally depends on the woman.

Depends on the chick and the guy! Sometimes people don't have to agree on everything to make it work. I'm a metal maiden myself, and I am very turned on by that kind of music. However, I do like being introduced to other music. I'm not much into country.

I totally dig guys who listen to heavy metal and rock. Country music guys are ok, but they like to chew tobacco and that's yucky. Metal mania guys all the way, in every way!!!

First of all there are many types of genres out there besides just the ones you named.

If a woman truly liked a man, his music preference really shouldnt mattter. I personally wouldnt cut a man off due to not liking different music to me. This is what makes all us different. I have been married to my husband for 12 years and he hates some of my music just like I hate some of his. I am not gonna divorce him because of his preference.

What really matters is that the person likes them for their personality first and foremost.

It depends on the woman's preference. It's tough to like a guy who listens to repulsive music.

Women prefer men that listen to music that they like and not dumb manufactured trends that they got brainwashed into liking by their friends/the media. I don't care what he listens to, as long as he relates to it and enjoys it. That could just be me, though. Some girls like men who listen to the same manufactured crap that they do. So do you want to listen to something just to impress a girl, or would you prefer a girl who has her own taste and respects yours?

It depends on the woman. But personally. None of those genre's of music would be something that would draw me towards a guy. I absolutely loathe country music. And the other two hurt my ears. Meh!

Hello, everyone's different! I like folk, bluegrass, classic rock and psychedelic, so of course I would find more in common with someone who shared my interests. Even if they didn't though, that's not the most important factor... it's nice though to like the same music.
