I'm kind of undecided with that question, only because there are teens that are old enough to fight for our country, so why not be allowed to date? But, then again there are teens having babies that are no more than babies themselves. So, it's a catch-22 decision here.
There are some teenagers that THINK they are in love, and some that only pretend they are in love, so that their friends won't say too them, "I told you to keep him, that he was a find". Just so that some teens can THINK they are grown-up, when in actuality they are nothing more than a pretending grown-up, almost like playing dress up.
If I had children, they would not date until they were 18 years old or could be responsible enough in their lives to take care of themselves and the person they are going to be with. If a teen can't take care of themself, then why have them TRY and be with the "in crowd", and fail as I did when growing up?
Todays teens are nothing compared to how teens were when I was growing up. We had respect for our parents back then, we had respect for others back then. These days there is no respect even for themselves and that's a shame.

love is no different whether its between teenagers or adults. Its still the same feeling.
Its just that teenagers change and grow as well as their likes/dislikes in a relationship. That's why teenage love usually doesn't last too long and if it does--well those people are pretty lucky and i hope they are still happy.

Try it for yourself...as there are some experiences and lessons that cannot be put in words... Good or Bad it would help you to make better decisions ...
If a teenager says or feels he is in love he has made a decision (probably the first one even before he decides his career, personality etc).... Now that's where we start and learn from our decisions... Win or lose ..you would love it..
Definitely go for it... But be within your LAKSHMAN REKHA and never bring disgrace to your parents...
Good Luck..

Its hard to say. Teenagers have alot of crushes they think are love. Ocassionally its real -- and then who knows. I never got over my first love from when I was 18, which is crazy since I am now 37. We are friends now and married with children to others and I wish I had not broken up with him so long ago. But you never know, its hard to make real decisions when you are so young.

There is a term called calf love. It means that you are not yet mature for Adult love. In other words, Love is too serious a matter for kids to play with. This does not mean you cannot have good friends in your Teens. Some of them may turn out to be life time friends. My suggestion to you is don't confuse the simple curiosity attraction to the opposite sex as Love. Take your own time, make many friends, evaluate their loyalty to you and yours to them, and shortlist your kid friends for keepsake. Your Life partner may or may not come from that group.

I am a teenager right now, and I think I love someone, but I don't know if it really is love... I would have to be older to be able to tell you, if I were to answer right now, it would be purely speculation and really be of no use to you...

i think love is not a game playing when u fell to play and leeving it when u feel tired thats why if u are shure in it only u should proceed and the teen age is the age only depends on the fatal attraction that's why it is not the age for love
