I often do spend it by myself, but this year I invited 5 people over who otherwise would have gone to a church hall. That way we can be grateful to be together, and I won't waste my time feeling sorry for myself. Why don't you volunteer at a church or at a shelter? A poor hooker would probably just use your money for blow, and neither one of you would have done anything to make the other grateful for longer than the trick or the dope lasted

Forget the hooker and volunteer to help serve a meal to the homeless.

If you live in Southern California, why don't you show up at the old Arrowhead Pond, now called the Honda Center and volunteer to feed the homeless? Last year over 50,000 people were fed by volunteers.

Many churches serve free meals on Thanksgiving. Why not go and meet some new people?

gross you would be better of at the local homeless shelter free food and plenty of people to talk to. I mean by you volunteering of course!

contact local children shelter and ask if they need help setting up the festivities..... kids need someone to relate to
