I am going to see an oncologist at Dana Farber this week. However, all pathology on lymph nodes taken showed that the cancer did not matastisise anywhere else no cancer in nodes. so why should I get chemo? I will hear what he has to say though. That's why I am going with an open mind. I am a nurse also, I know the risk. I am on a lot of meds for a disease i was born with. I just don't want to trade off a liver disease instead of taking my chances with chemo. That will really do in my liver I feel anyway. Now you understand why I feel this way.

i think everyone should have enough education before they make their choices, they should do their own research as to the success rate of alternative medicine and success of chemotherapy and radiation in treatment of cancer. sometimes, patients tend to choose one over the other because of lack of knowledge on both. they will just listen to the closest source of information that they will get and not necessarily get the accurate one.

I would suggest you visit a a good experienced Homeopathic Physician for the treatment of cancer, Homeopathy is the new school of smart medicine which cure without side effects and complications and have known to cure where are conventional so called medicine has totally failed as it was meant to be. With due apologies to all Conventional Doctors and Nurses. No offense meant my friends just suggesting what is loads better then what you guys are just PRACTICING , its curing and healing its time to open your eyes and your brains to the truth and get rid of your bias and prejudice.

it is unsafe to lump all cancer treatments together since there are soo many different kinds of cancers . please don't limit your treatments by ignoring those that are proven to work. yes chemo is hard on the body.. but cancer is soooo much harder on it. it will kill you if left unchecked.

I have no problem with people trying All Natural remedies. But you're making a mistake here. "Cancer" is a "catch all" term for MANY serious illnesses- & you're running a dangerous risk by using ONE "cure" to cover all of them. Please consider getting additional opinions about your condition- before you go about treating it. This is your LIFE we're talking about. Good luck.
