Yes, check the website www.tsa.gov - allowed liquids, gels MUST BE PUT INTO ONE QUART SIZE CLEAR ZIP LOCK BAG. And only one bag allowed per passenger. I made the mistake of putting stuff in a gal. bag and most was taken away.

This restriction makes it harder for women as we have more stuff, i.e.make-up, etc. If you have only carry on and no check in luggage you may have to purchase items at your destination. If you also have check in, you can check the items in.

It also helps to check you airlines website - now the above is for flights within the U.S. If you're flying out of the country you will need to check with your airline. Good Luck :)

You should go to http://www.tsa.gov/ they have a detailed list of what you can and cannot bring on the aircraft, as well as the correct way to pack the carry on so it is easy to go through security.

Have a great trip!

If you're traveling in or from the US here's the TSA site for permitted and prohibited items again: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm
