First, I won't go into the legality of downloading movies. There are copyright laws in the US that would make downloading movies a crime. Actually, I don't know if it's the act of DOWNLOADING or the act of UPLOADING or MAKING AVAILABLE that is illegal. I would think the later.

Anyway, you can find tons of movies at various BitTorrent sites. I use these as a few to find certain TV shows...

You'll need a BitTorrent client to download these files. I use Azureus, which seems to be about the best. You can find it for free, here....

Finally, there are pay sites that make promises that I cannot attest to, because I have never used them, but they might be worth a look. Here are a few...

That ought to do you for a while. Good luck.

AZUREUS!! It's the best bittorrent client. I promise! You need to download Java with it, but it has the best features... it's really fast, and it has a kick/ban feature. If you want to know how to use it, then go here for my answer:

I've never downloaded using LimeWire except for music, which is what I think its main purpose SHOULD be. So, I can't suggest that to you. If you want a good player, go for Core Media Player. It's not bulky like DivX, and it's great for playing subtitles (.ogg or .ogm files). Otherwise, BS Player is good because it's also quite compact, but without the whole subtitles feature, and it asks you to buy it or else you've got to put up with WhenUSave ads.

Limewire definately, and the best universal free to download player to get, has got to be Divx player, it plays pretty much every video format. Just go to www.divx.com . Done and done.
