I am looking for the average price of a traditional/simple buffet. I am looking for general prices so that I can compare a few catering companies on my area. I think the prices are slightly higher than average, so I wanted to check it out.

Here in Minnesota, where I am, I found at the local VFW that buffet with two meat selections is 9.25 per head. At the Raddison Hotel, increase that by 10 bucks, and remove one meat selection.

If you want buffett- ask the place if you can get a discount for plates used over a certain limit.

It all depends on the area you live in. The cheaper places will obviously cost you less money. But ask about bundle savings nonetheless- you may be surprised at what you can get if you ask!

Defenintly Royal Caribbean! They are the BEST! And as far as cost there are a lot of variables. A basic 3 night Bahamas cruise in an interior stateroom for 2 people would cost about $850. But defenintly go to the RCCL website and see all the features they have on their ships! You'll never think of taking another cruiseline!

Well it all depends on where you are from, prices will vary from state to state..since all of our costs of living differ. I've heard of a few standard buffet receptions in NJ where I am..one was $45pp another $50pp and a really good one was $21 but you supplied the alcohol for that one. Good luck on your big day!

You are better off comparing between the caterers in your area...the prices that we give you are from our areas. I can tell you now that what my brides pay for in DC is grossly more than what someone would pay in Minnesota or Montana. It just depends where you live.

It makes a diference what your serving, time of year and how you are serviing - My daughter was married last January and the reception was at the Marriott - Full Buffett dinner with chocolate fountain, Champaine fountain - $18 a plate - not including the open bar.

Prices depend on the area you are in. The best thing to do is go to http://talk.theknot.com and go to the local boards section and find your area. There are many resourceful ladies that can help you out there.

It depends on what you want your buffet to consist of.

Go on like and do some investigating so you'll have a ball-park figure.

cheapest can be 14.95 pp, averge is $20 p.p.. Y don't u call a local culinary arts school and see if they can refer you one of their best students and have them do it. You can also try the pwg.com (perfect wedding guide) online or order a book. This will be of great help.
