Easier too make friends with guys versus women?

Question

As a guy I find it easier to make friends with men then women. First men are less selective on whom they talk too. Most women I run into only want to talk to men in their social-economic group and perfect on the physical aspect. If you are missing just one of those you are disqualified.. Men could care less on how you dress, what you do for a living or what you drive......women do care. Example, I drive an old Ford and male co-workers jump in without a second thought. Most of my females co-workers are like they rather die than be seen in my car. A guess my follow up question is why do men for the most part just don't give a **** (nonchalant) on whom they associate with and why are women so selective even for small talk and no strings attached social interactions even among men they see everyday like coworkers?

Maybe but some men are snooty too. Women are never sure what men are after when they want to be friends. As a woman, the types of cars make no difference to me. I have pretty much equal number of friends between men & women. A 6'3" husband helps my male friends decide to be friends only. Some women are more judgemental I think but not all.

I have a similar issue and I am a woman! It's easier for me to get along with men. Most women are too picky and too confusing.

I find it much easier to talk to men than women. They don't seem as judging, and don't always jump to the wrong conclusions about what you said. They won't hold grudges against you for saying stupid stuff, and aren't so superficially oriented.

I don't have a answer to your question becouse I have the same problem. All my friends are guys. I have no friends with any girls. You are totally right, they do have stict guide lines as to who they talk to. I tried everything from talking to girls at the mall, talking to girls that I work with, to trying online dating sites. I eventually just gave up trying to find a g/f. This drove me to other alternatives like going to female escorts, going to strip clubs, and even going home with a stripper. I here ya man.

Are you sure its not your personality? Not trying to be mean, but i really haven't experience the same issues as you. Also don't forget there are more scary guys than girls, physically that is, so its natural for a girl to be standoffish than a guy cause he has less fear of you trying to do something bad to them.

Plus I don't care about things like clothes and nails.

that's funny b/c as a girl, i find it easier to make girl friends than guy friends. i dont know, i just feel more at ease with girls, like i can talk to girls easier than guys. maybe it's just the girls you work with who are being so selective. or maybe they see you in some way as a type who they might go out with someday, and your crappy car lets them know that you might not be able to treat them well. i dont know, just a guess...

i am a woman and i also think that it is easier to make friends with guys than girls for the same reasons you have. women tend to keep a constant guard up and it takes months to let their guard down.

im a girl, and i dont relate to any of that. some women are just to stuck-up and picky for the rest of society. but i do agree, it is easier to make friends with guys more then girls.
