I was talking to my brother (the one who came from the abusive past) and I thought my uncle had gone out. We were talking in my room when all of the sudden he came in and told my brother that I was lying
and he punched me so hard my nose bled. Then he hit my brother in the eye very hard. He told my brother that if anyone - either of us told - he would kill our parents. What should I do?!?!!?

This is a very serious problem for a kid to handle by themself. Do you have anyone you trust completely? Teacher, counselor, pastor, adult friend or someone? Tell them quietly and discretely. Tell them what you wrote here...let them tell your parents. If your uncle comes to you...you can honestly tell him you didn't say anything to them about this.

This may very well be a case for the police but ask an adult who knows you and who you trust first...then let them to help you decide whether or not to call the police...this is a threat on a human life and it is against the law.

Get some help to help solve this difficult situation. I know a lot of adults don't even know what to do in these situations. You are very brave...hang in there. I'm pulling for you!

Tell! He knows that he can get in trouble and that's why he scared you into not telling. Go to the police. If this man had an unreasonable rage like that and threatens to kill your parents...TELL YOUR PARENTS and report him immediately.

Tell your parents and call the police right away!!! He's trying to scare you because he knows he's done wrong. Press assault charges. If you let him get away with this he'll only be back for more. Good luck.

Tell your parents anyway, there is such a thing as a restraining order to keep him away. Use the legal system, it's the safest way to keep out of hot water.

And you're so scared that you got on the computer and posted this question instead of calling the police and having him locked up for assaulting the two of you and communicating death threats? Now, what's wrong with this picture....

I'd call the police and file assault charges on him, and then do everything I could to obtain a restraining order. Tough to do as a kid, but you have the right to be safe in your own home.
Good luck.

He cannot and will not kill your parents. You should tell your parents or the police. This is abuse and he is using fear as a shield to do this. You dont deserve this. If you tell a school counselor they can also help you. Please get help soon.

Call the cops and tell them whatever it is that he doesn't want you to tell anyone. Don't bother going to your parents or anyone else first because obviously whatever it is that he has done was against the law so you need to go straight to them.
