My fiance and I already live together and we are having trouble deciding what to do on the wedding night. We already know the obvious activities. The question is WHERE? Going home would be dull, and going to a hotel would be pointless. What do people normally do? What is something original to do?

another shack up honey huh?

must be super boring to marry someone who'm you've already shacked up with.

whad do people normaly do? they do not live together before marriage.

but then again, why milk the cow when the milk is free.

ok, go to a night out on the town.

The data shows that people who have multiple cohabiting relationships before marriage are more likely to experience marital conflict, marital unhappiness and eventual divorce than people who do not cohabit before marriage.1 Although some of these effects might be due to the characteristics of people who cohabit (e.g., they tend to move from one relationship to another), recent studies suggest that the cohabitation experience itself contributes to problems in marriage. The reason why cohabitation may setup couples for failure in marriage is because cohabitation is just a test. Since all couples suffer from some incompatibility, when the other partner "fails" the test, the person moves on to the next partner. A succession of cohabitation failures results in an inability to maintain commitment - the most important part of a marriage relationship.

Spend the money that you would spend on a hotel, on a fancy restaurant. If you tell the management that it's your wedding evening, they might spring with a few extras. Then go home and have a good time (not watching TV).

Since you already live together, the wedding night is no big deal obviously, so just go home.

My husband and I went to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It was so nice there, the place is still set back in 19th century but it was great. It's this little valley in the woods. And there are a ton of little bed and breakfasts. Good luck, God bless.

That's why we waited..to both live together and "do the deed." We didn't see the point of getting married if we were acting like a married couple before the fact. I think it made our relationship that much stronger.

How about renting a nice yacht, a reasonable one nothing to fancy and you and your sweetie can be out in the middle of no where all by yourselves to enjoy your first night as an official couple.

it extremely is classic which you not see your fiance the evening formerly your wedding ceremony till you look in the church. We additionally had a holiday spot wedding ceremony and spent the evening formerly our wedding ceremony mutually-we're not superstitious, so we did not extremely evaluate staying in separate rooms.

you could go camping, or out in the middle of nowhere, lay down a blanket, light some candles, and have some wine, etc. out under the stars..... presuming it isnt too cold where you are.
