I recently have purchased a white english bulldog and named her Pearl but am having a hard time coming up with the rest of her name for AKC paperwork. Anyone have any suggestions. She is all white except for her right ear is fawn colored. Thanks for any help and/or suggestions.

Well, does she have a kennel name. Ours is Springbrook so our Sheltie is Springbrook's Enchaning Emma. I would keep the name Pearl in her AKC name since it doesn't sound like you're going to show her. How about "Preety as a Pearl" or "Precious Pearl". You get the idea. You could also not include her name which is what most serious show people do and they use famous names like Bellagio (after the casino) or cities (Phoenix) or names of fav. songs. I've even seen celebrity names and brand names. Like Louis Vuitton Pearl and so forth. Some names sound like race horse names so you could check out race horse names and copy one of their names. You might want to come up with a "tough" name since it's a bulldog. It's hard but don't stress out about it, I think you can change it for a fee but you might want to check with the AKC. I'm so jealous you got a bulldog, they're so adorable. Have you seen the one on that new MTV show called Rob and Big, they were trying to teach it to skateboard because they met a skateboarding Bulldog and his owner. Check it out, the dog is amazing!

Sometimes you would take the names of the parents and/or the kennel, if it's a respected breeder. So if the Breeder was Smith, she might be (your last name) Pearl Smith. Or, (Father's name) Pearl (your last name)
