First, you may wanted to starts something light, like hand holding then after sometimes proceed to hold his arm or waist, do it with purpose[don't rush n show that you are too eager] like going somewhere after spending times at a shopping mall or restaurant, say something like 'let go for a walk or let go to get a present for friend or lets buy some candy/chocolate at that shop', doing it spontaneously would lead him into hugging you one day, but remember never rush n scared him off ! hug him, once he sees that its not that big of a deal he will then continue to hug you as well. He just needs a extra shove/push to get him confortable with things like that. Make the first move, and than see if he changes and starts doing the same, if not than you need to let him know how you feel and that you would like it if he would show more of his feelings towards you.

when u see him hug him and after u guys are done talking and u guys have to go do diffrent things befor u go hug him again and tell him u well miss him..and he mite hug u too...

huggign may not be his thing. just be patient and wait. time will come that he will have the need to hug you. then your bond will be stronger.
