In my oponion, they are the worst posible car company on the market. PLEASE PROMISE ME THIS, NEVER BUY A VW!! THEY ALL SUCK AND THEY ARE THE WORST LEMONS ON THE ROAD!!!

nah i disagree... i've always loved the VW Beetle since i was a kid, and the new Beetle looks even cooler. we own 2 restored VW Beetles and we used to own a VW Combi... was our family van for almost a decade until we sold it due to financial constraints.

Hey, speaking from my own personal experience with VW's since 1967, both air cooled and the new generation, you could not be more wrong. Every car maker has it's problems. I have driven Volkswagens for literally *hundreds of thousands of miles*. My last one was an '86 Jetta that I used when I worked as a courier drver. I pounded the crap out of that car, putting 400 Km (250 miles) a *day* on it, and it never let me down. Have friends and family that have had great service out of these cars. Over 21 million beetles were sold making it the worlds best selling car. I have had 8 and loved every one of them! Considering a new Rabbit right now...

your wrong--volkwagens are awesome!! you must have boughten a lemon!! try purchasing or leasing a new one-you will be very happy--
i am leasing a 2005 vw passatt & i love it--the only thing i don't like is the way you have to roll the lever to lay the seat back--other than that it is an awesome vehicle.
sorry you had a bad experience with a lemon, but don't just all vw's because of this!!

i agree.
there workmanship is crap..the interiors fall apart/fade/peel..they have alot of electrical problems...there $$$ to maintain...
