I dont know whats with me but theres a girl I like and everything I have never had a gf and I am a sophmore in hs now. I have never kissed a girl but I am not one of the kids you would expect. I start varisty for my basketball team everyone knows me but I just always feel shy around the girl I like and I have no clue how to start talking to someone or anything. I dont even talk to many girls anymore because I have no clue what to say half the time or anything. If anyone could help me with any advice please post it. Do girls actully notice the nice kids who dont make fun of them or hold the door for them or dont cut them off or is just blown right over there heads? Also I go to partys and drink(to have a good time every once and a while I havnt even been motivated to due that when I have the chance anymore) and everything but even there I just feel out of place of every topic when they talk about whos hookin up with who and stuff like that. So howd you guys all start out or anything.

i am really sorry that u are depressed but you know you have to be more outgoing and listen to your heart. don't make it seem so hard . look at the girl in another way expect the fact that she is a girl try just saying hi to her and then probably flirt with her little bit and you might just get in a good conversation and get her number. ask one of of your home boys that you trust to give you some techniques. girls love nice boys especially the ones who don't talk about you. well i know i do. sometimes girls expect the boy to make the first move and i think you should go ahead and make the first move because maybe she might be feeling the same way about you. good luck hope i helped you

I'm sorry about you being depressed, because trust me, I know how that feels. I am 16 years old and have only kissed one guy before. I go to a fairly small private school where everyone knows everyone's business. I can tell you right now, I always notice the guys who are willing to hold the door open for the girls or just be extra nice. It's okay that you're shy. I got into the whole drinking scene last year but I stopped because I realized that wasn't really who I was.
Let me tell you something, don't be anyone you're not. If you drinking to try to fit in and be "cool", don't. Girls like guys who are themselves.
I suggest getting a mutual friend that is outgoing to talk to the girl you like or so that at least you can all talk together, or even plan something like a friendly type of movie-date and see where it goes from there.

your not the only one here. Im a guy who also has never had a girlfriend and everyone knows me at school and I am also shy also im pretty good looking. Just be patient and do whats important in life. I know its hard for some reason u and I havnt gone out with nobody and it hurts but life goes on. Someone will like u for u and thats what matters. good luck and wish me good luck as well
