Please inlighten me about the fanatics who read and quote the bible,I`m familiar with the Baptists and they think their belief is the only one.Went to one of there services Sunday and found it not very spiritual, just like a big meeting.Trying not to pre-judge but find it hard since they feel you have to believe as they do to be saved.Any comments

Try a Catholic Mass. It is very reverential.

there is only one way back to the truth and that is through the Lordship and teachings of Jesus Christ. After you have accepted jesus as savior the real journey begins. It is when the Holy
Spirit becomes your teacher and abides with you twenty four seven that you are going to start to learn anything that is truthful and that you get to keep. It isn't about anybodys religion, it is about truth that comes only from the horses mouth. Direct from God is the only way, and not from some humans mouth. Now if what is coming out of a humans mouth is God then that is the truth also. You must have the Holy Spirit to know when you are talking to God or you are talking to a human that thinks he knows something about God. Yes we have teacher and prophets and so forth to perfect us and to keep us tuned to the real teacher by confirming what the spiritual boss has just reveiled. There is one God and we are all suppose to have that God living in side of us and teaching us and comforting us. Nothing else will do for very long so why waste the side trip? Go to source, it isn't easy to be faced with the truth at all times but it is rewarding at the end of the game. What we have learnwed at any minute in this journey is not nearly what we are going to learn over the next million years or so. Be prepared if you love God to step out into forever right now because that is what happened when you were saved.
I love you and I am done for tonight but seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you. your forgivness lives inside and with that comes your total forgiveness. Amen!

Sometimes spirituality is a matter of taste. Some folks dont find music to be spiritual and others do. Some rather quiet mediation while others like to be charasmatic and joyful. None of these are bad things so long as you are honest in how you demonstrate your faith. Everyone's relationship with God is personal, no one should expect everyone's to be the same. You may find a Church more spiritual if it had more joyful music or something.

there are more kinds of "Baptists' than you can shake a stick at... Baptist has become a very generic term today... you can believe what you want,as a non-christian you are not bound by God's law... only mans...only those who come to God in The Way He proscribes will receive His free gift of Salvation. and only those who do will enter Heaven. It dose not matter whether they are Baptists or not.... there is only One Church and that is The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. All those who have God's free gift of Salvatin are of The Chuch... they can be Baptists, or any of any number of man invented "denominations' claiming to be Christian.. But if they are not of The Church they can call themselves any thing they want and beleive any thing they want... but it wont get them into Heaven..... I happen to be a member of a small concervative Baptist congrigation... that and a dollar will get me a cup of coffee... it is God's Promise to me that is The Truth of my Salvation....not the mortal company I keep.

Instead of one of the mainline denominational churches, why not look for a smaller Bible teaching church.
A denominational church will always promote their individual denomination's doctrines.

Bible believing, and Bible teaching are different issues. Quite often, you will find a Bible teaching church to be non-denominational, independant churches.
