These days kids are FORCED to either promote homosexuality or keep their mouths shut if thanks to the GSA nazis (among others) and God forbid that anything but evolution be taught in public schools because that would just be wrong. If it gets any worse they'll start arresting kids for even saying "God" in school. Seperation of church and state was put out there so that we all aren't forced to believe the same thing, but apparently evolutionism is exempt from said seperation.

Stevy, you've never heard of the GSA obviously. And you also obviously never went to the high school that I did.

Lone, have you ever considered the possibility that we Christians actually CARE about the souls of homosexuals and don't want to see them go to Hell? God can heal people from anything that they want to be healed from; His only limitations are the ones made by men who let Satan cast doubt in their heart for no better reason than that they don't want to leave their comfort zone. We were born sinners, but that doesn't mean we have to stay sinners. That was the whole point of Jesus' crucifiction, to make it so that anyone who is willing to take up their cross and follow Him can, no matter how dark their past.

Because the only thing that is not being tolerated is intolerance of sin. Go figure huh?

What kids are being taught is to respect the rights of others to make their own choices.
Why don't you try looking at it from a different perspective. Let's pretend for a moment that Islam is the dominant religion in the US, with about 70% of the population being Muslim. (Which is roughly the current Christian %) Now, let's say that you are in the minority and are a Christian. How would you feel if everyday you had to put up with being told that you are violating Allah's law and that you are going to burn in Hell if you don't repent and convert? What if those who said this stalked you through the halls and yelled at you? Made fun of you? Hit you?
It would suck, wouldn't it? That's probably very similar to how many teens that are gay feel when they are confronted by Christians telling them that they are going to Hell for being gay.
Social pressure is a HUGE stressor and a continuous barrage of it can lead to devastating results. Sadly, it even leads some people to suicide. Is that what God would want?
Evolution is a scientific theory supported by empirical evidence and as such, should be taught in public schools. Creationism and Intelligent Design are theological constructs. Since theology can't be empirically proven, a society that values the rights of the individual must allow all individuals to choose which, if any, theological constructs they want to believe. To do otherwise usurps individual freedom.

Your claim is not only erroneous, it is absurd. The reason that evolution is taught in the public schools is that it is a proven fact -- it has nothing to do with religion. The notion that children are forced to embrace immorality is beyond stupid: schools do not deliberately teach moral issues, and the idea that religion is the repository of moral wisdom is asinine, as you would discover if you read any history of the subject.

Oh no... not HOMOSEXUALITY!!! :( :(
Seriously, get over it. And evolution has nothing to do with religion; public schools have no obligation to ignore well-established scientific material just because it conflicts with someone's religious beliefs. There are Flat Earth Societies still existing out there; should we refrain from teaching our kids that the world is round? I mean, we don't want to offend anyone, after all...

Evolution is a scientific theory, not a religion. Kids are not taught to embrace athieism or homosexuality. Schools simply do not allow the discussion of ANY religion. ALSO...sexuality should be left out of the classroom altogether. There is not a curriculum that promotes heterosexuality or homosexuality! Why don't you check the facts before you jump to conclusions...and home school your kids so you can teach them to be God fearing homophobes!

Calling evolution "evolutionism" doesn't suddenly make it not a science. Feeble Creationist rhetoric just doesn't fly. Evolution is not in opposition to religion. It just offends the sensibilities of loud-mouthed small-minded Biblical literalists.

A good point. Evolution is forced upon children without them being given any other views to make an educated decision. It is a sad reflection on the state of our society.

If you don't like it, send your kid to private school. Boohoo, your kids can't commit hate crimes the way you taught them.
