When falling in love, I was constantly told that what really turn the tide of the attraction is the men's personality.

Being a man, it is hard to imagine.

Because many of the man are "sight" oriented (sexually aroused by the sights, like woman exposing her body parts, etc.)

In fact, to many guys (not everyone) the looks of the women is the most important element when being together.

Why, and how do the girls consider the personality the best?

Well when girls are young and still exploring the world around them they like to think that looks are about the only thing that matters on a boy. They don't think about whether he'll treat her respectfully or if he's actually interest in her for HER not her body. But when girls turn into women, sometimes, they begin to realize that looks and a man's body don't matter as much. I can't say for all women but for women like me, it's true. We want to know that if a man's ball shrink (sorry) his humor and laughter won't. We want to know that he actually thinks with his brain and not with his body (most of the times). It's good, no fabulous to know that the man you marry or date will always have the same personality when you guys first met. Bodies and personalities changes, but I would rather have my man hold my hand when we're old, not looking at his body parts.

Maybe a metaphor would help... think if you have a brand new shiny sportscar. Gorgeous with leather interior... you love the look, the feel. But now imagine that it begins leaking oil, the breaks squeak so bad that everytime you stop you clench your teeth at the sound, and when you want to go right, it turns left. Difference is with cars, you can probably repair the problem... but with personality, well that's improbable.

Does it make better sense now?
