I used to be a straight A student last year. But I was a lazy straight A student and I crammed all the info in one day before the tests. I paid more attention in class and took more notes. I didn't procrastinate and I tried to do my work quietly in a room.
But this year, I do my work while watching television, I procrastinate and instead of trying to get homework done as asap, I save it til the morning or wait til homeroom to work on it. I don't take any notes in class and I'm still trying to cram everything into my head one day before the test except now it's harder to do so cause I have material to read. Now I have mostly B's and a C in analytical math.
So...in conclusion, work quietly, don't procrastinate, read everything and take notes... that should get you an A in your class. Make sure you understand what you're reading; don't just read it, understand it!
If you have the chance to do extra credit, take it! Don't try to bribe your teacher though. Good teachers like students who want to learn and will do extra credit to learn no matter how much points the extra credit is worth. If you try to bribe your teacher, it might give them a bad impression. Don't cheat; if you get caught you might get kicked out and it will also give your teacher a bad impression of you. Participating more in class will give your teacher a good impression of you because it shows that you're willing to learn.

First Do all your work to the best of your ability and hand it in on time.
Second ask questions , make sure you understand assignments and what tests are going to cover.
Third STUDY - I do not mean skim, I mean Study.
Finally ASK each of your teachers what their criteria for earning an A is. Each ones standards will probably be a bit different. Some teachers require extra credit, others require more in depth writing etc.

EASY!!! Every heard of 'selling the teacher'

You are obviously a hard worker and want the best grades so keep doing what you are doing and always ask for extra credit.. they love to hear that and EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!!

BUILD RAPPORT WITH ALL TEACHERS .... word gets around that you are a great student amongst teachers... get to know a little bit about the teachers... pick up on cues like if a female teacher is tired... say wow you really do a great job and work hard.. I can appreciate that I feel like we are the same.. You deserve a break ... I hope you enjoy your holiday you deserve it!! Then send a holiday card or put it on her desk.. a little rapport never hurt anyone... Hey and maybe it will make her or his day. just a thought. :)

Unless you can bribe all of your teachers and buy yourself a few A's, you've got to apply yourself, study more, get really involved in what you are learning. It sounds like a drag but it will be worth it in the end. Best of luck

Quit asking questions on here and study for the ones that they ask you in your exams for starters..study and study until the lights are out..and you fall asleep..it is worth it and after a few years of this you can relax in a nice professional career.

The best thing to do is stay on top of the class, by reading ahead listening carefully to specific directions and always always always turn in your homework. (it's the easiest grade).
