Well, I find that when I have a boyfriend, I'm a much happier person. I really think I have clinical depression, but I'm not sure. When I have a boyfriend I just seem like everything is okay and I feel secure. I haven't have a boyfriend in over a year now. I just need some advice. Now before you call me a desperate loser, understand where I'm coming from. In school, I don't even feel safe walking to the bathroom by myself. At the end of this entry thing I'm going to put a picture of me for reference and tell me what to improve.
First off, I'm an understanding person. I have a great sense of humor, and I really get along with everyone, but I'm always seen as just a friend. I want to get beyond that. I'm willing to change a little bit, but it's impossible to just change completely. I'm not the skinniest person ever, not the hugest. But maybe that's the problem. I'm average.

There are lots of pressures in school to be cute/cool/popular/whatever. Its crap - focus on your ability to be a productive healthy adult.

Follow your dreams and focus on your skills and talents that can provide you a happy successful career/lifestyle. There is nothing more attractive to men and woman (and most teenagers - who have it together) than someone who knows what they want - and is getting it!

You will find people along the way with your same passions and interests. If you can keep yourself healthy in both body and mind and strive for success people will be knocking down your door to date you. ..and as a bonus you’ll be a happy self sufficient adult.

Hey cheer up. I have the same problem and I've never had a boyfriend. I'm blonde, thin, and really funny...but yet, no guys notice me. So don't bring yourself down about your weight, because you are not fat. Your very pretty and you seem like you have a very beautiful personality. Personality is key in any relationship. Anddd your not a desperate loser. I'm always a happy person when I have some guy to talk to, even if he is a friend. Guys' attention makes us women feel better about ourselves :) lol...theres nothing wrong with you...guys are just stupid at times. Don't worry though, someday you'll find a guy who will treat you the best :D and won't judge you. Most important of all, don't judge yourself and bring yourself down. People like being around other people who are happy...so just be happy and let the guys come to you :)

Everyone needs a friend whether it be male or female friends are important .I doubt you have depression just loneliness .I looked at both your pictures and my guess is you are being sterio typed that means not as skinny as girls in magazines but here you would be average size and not have trouble getting a boyfriend so give it a bit more time concentrate on your studies there is a man just waiting for you to find each other he may very well be the longest boyfriend you have had and marry you .There are no prizes for having the most boyfriends the prize is finding the right one .Best of luck ...john

Well i see where your coming from I havent been single in four years and it wasnt with one guy. I always tend to be with someone. Sometimes a girl needs a little comfort and a guy can be the perfect one to comfort you. You are probably just a nice girl who likes to have a boyfriend its nothing wrong with that, its natural. Have you tried just dating guys? It probably isnt the same as having someone who is sincere for you like a boyfriend. Well dont feel bad about it, its okay.

Well i know how you feel, wanting to feel safe..... I would say don't change yourself for someone, because that could turn out that it doesn't really work out,........ There are tons of fish in the ocean and your bound to find a good one sooner or later..... Think of girls like apples on a tree... All the good girls are at the top, guys are to afraid to reach for the top because they'er afraid of falling and getting hurt so they just pick up the ones off the ground..... Pretty soon one will be brave enough and who knows he might just pick you..... So don't give up hope....

You look pretty good to me............Meeeeeeeeow...:) I have been single all my life. I am 47. I have had a few girlfriends, but nothing ever serious. All my friends are divorced. I have been on a few dates with Match.com. You should put your profile there. It works. Just make sure you meet at a public place like a restaurant or coffee shop. Take care.

you are a sweet girl and like most people. when people are in a happy relationship they glow and they are happier. it's normal. I dont think your depression has anything to do with having a boyfriend. you just have self esteem issues

You are BEAUTIFUL and you need to realize that! That's your only problem. I am not ABOUT to call you any sort of loser. You need to find what you like about yourself and focus on that. Soon you'll see other things too! You'll be rockin' it before long girl!

when you have a boyfriend, your thoughts are diverted and your mind is busy thinking about him, so you don't allow your thoughts to turn ugly.
