This would depend upon where you stand with God, according to the Bible. Death isn't an end but a beginning. It's simply a different existence. If you are saved by Jesus Christ then the Bible states you are asleep in Christ and with Christ until the First Resurrection, then you go to the New Jerusalem -Heaven in other words. If you have rejected Christ then you get your wish and spend an eternity without God . The unbeliever first goes to hell where he/she will be in torment until the Great White Throne Judgement of God, then to the Lake of Fire along with Satan and his demons. The believer experiences peace and bliss whereas the unbeliever gets no peace or bliss.

You wake up with a body similar to what you had here. The surroundings will probably be similar. The people will be much the same, - hopefully a little kinder and wiser having made some spiritual growth in this life. You discover that death isn't really the end, nor is it a new beginning - just a transition from one state of consciousness to another. That's what I believe. But really, no one knows for sure.

There are those who will realize what a relief it is. Others who have enemies who have passed by their hand waiting for them to pull them apart like a spiritually stuffed animal.I hear this hurts very much too. Supposedly for most they just find their old friends and relatives and blab for as long as they want to.For many death is the real retirement. One persons version of heaven may be another persons hell.

Yes, usually the body gets buried after death ... if not out of respect, then at least to avoid the odor.

For those who are "in Christ", as we close our eyes to this world, we open our eyes to Heaven. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. This very day that we "die" we will be with Christ in Paradise (Heaven).

For those who have rejected Christ's offer, they will find themselves in "torments" with the rich man who died and was buried (yes, it is in the first book by St. Luke). A great gulf fixed between them and Heaven and those who would pass from "torments" to "heaven" can not.

I know it must be a wonderfull place. My dear Grandmother was in the nursing home . she had cancer, my Mother was reading from the bible to her. She suddenly smiled, Mother said. .her eyes got very bright. she raised her hands toward the ceiling, cried out JESUS! and passed on.I believe that there is a place,as Jesus said . I go and prepare a place for you, and since I do go to prepare that place then I Will return and receive unto me that where I am you shall be also. Trust and love and pray for guidance.heaven Will be there for you.I just trust and love God .completly without reservation. and Pray to the spirit of God for guidance,Heaven is not just for Christians or Buddhists or any one religion. heaven is for everyone who truly loves God and wonts to do Gods will. in there lives.I have witnessed true miraculous miracles. All that call on the name of the Lord Will not be saved. only those that do my fathers will, will make it to heaven. I must pray for answers and listen inside myself for the answers to my questions.that come from the spirit of God. and try to do Gods will in my life and how I may live a life that is deserving to go to heaven. evil people will go to hell.I wish to be pleaseing to God.I love God very much tho I have suffered much.much more then most. It is the Prince of the Power of the air that is control of this world.I don't blame God for anything. I praise God for everything.

You meet your Maker to judge you of your Earthly performance. You were born for a specific purpose.otherwise you would't be here. Consider it that there will be a transition. It's like graduating high school and moving to college or to a job.

REBIRTH - ANOTHER LIFE

The logic behind it is simple. If you watch your mind you can see that each thought comes from the previous thought, thus our mind is a progression. Where does the thought of the morning come from? The dreaming mind of night. We can trace our minds back throughout our life. Where does a fetus get a thought from? The mind that holds the thought comes from a previous one. Where does a conceived embryo get its thoughts? Well, the thoughts do not arise from DNA. Logically, they come from the previous thought, which arose from the end of the last life.

Break the cycle my friend.

You get pie in the sky when you die, by and by. It's not a lie! And I like pie!

Just thought I'd say hi. Let out a big sigh. No need to cry, my oh my!

What does the Bible say? Ps. 146:4 says: "His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish."
