*sigh* I wasn't angry at you. I was "angry" at your blanket assumptions and wishful thinking.

Kill the persecution complex, would ya?

Well the tone of your question was a good simulation of a condescending and judgemental bigot, and that is rarely likely to produce a friendly response. Usually, regardless of the religious beliefs of a sample population - if you intentionally phrase a question in an insulting manner it really isn't all that surprising that some will take offence. Perhaps the next time you wish to study misanthropy you could save yourself time and simply look in a mirror? In effect that was precisely what you were doing. Of course pushing peoples buttons is such a rewarding pastime for the childish and insecure, so I would suppose it will be hard for you to restrain yourself.

you reside interior the bay section, in a Catholic city?? This makes me suspicious. you're questioning why atheists and Christians combat and yet you generalize atheists as "egotistical retards", i could could desire to declare that comments like this alongside with atheists dropping jobs or in any different case being discriminated against is a reason. for sure, dwelling interior the bar section, you would be thoroughly unaware that customarily, protesters are employed. yet in spite of this, you have made a team of non-public observations that could desire to be actual or available no longer... perchance you ought to think again this.

Look, I'm a Christian and I still respect people who decide they don't believe in God. It's a hard concept to fathom when Christianity is an idea you've been familiar with since childhood, but look at it this way: You don't just believe everything everybody tells you, right? Well, people who don't believe in Christianity or even God just don't believe the people who have that idea. I don't think that's a hellworthy offense. Spirituality is all about figuring out what makes the most sense to you. I don't think we give God enough credit, I'm sure he understands that.

Well, In your last question, you did state "I never met a loving atheist". They proved what you believe is true because you didn't receive no love and they proved ur case study to be a fact. I hope it was well worth it because they called you everything but a child of God in this question also. I'm amazed by their self made morals. LOL

I think it was basically because you said "I've never met a loving atheist" (something to that effect) and then continued on as though its the case with all atheists.

Yeah, there's hateful atheists and there's hateful "christians" too and if an Atheist said "Ive never met a loving Christian" I think we get pretty deffensive to don't you?

You assumed all atheists can not love. I'm not sure, what is wrong with that? I guess you need to be a christian to love, love killing in the crusades, inquisition and witch trials. Love of killing scientists that proclaim the world was not flat. We know you are ALL like that, right?

you call this a case study?

cut and paste from your former question
*******************************************************
If you are an atheist, do you have any hope in anything?
I've never met an atheist who loved people. They always seem to be misanthropes. Maybe atheists have never met Christians who love them. I don't know. But if you are atheist what do you have hope in?

And can you prove that God isn't real? Just as I cannot prove to you that He is. I just don't know if I could go through life hating people and God, and people who love God.

***********************************************************

an Atheist cannot love someone? is this because they do not believe in your god? i know many atheist's my brother is one. some of my best friends are atheist. they have very good and long lasting relationships.

furthermore you throw the same old challenge at them...prove that god is not real? do you have any idea how old and worn out this argument is. it is almost as bad as Pascal's Wager.

there are more Christians out there that hate everyone that is not Christian than there are Atheist's that hate god. it is really hard to hate something that you do not believe in.

do you not realize that it it the hypocrisy of most self avowed Christians that really makes most people Atheist?

You forgot to mention what your question was and why did they get you angry? You're a good case study.

Sister, I read your question and the answers, and found that their responses were not so much angry as warranted. Look again at the question you posed. Then look at the answers with the eyes of your soul, not the eyes of your self.

edit: tell me, with whom did Christ align himself? Those who need no saving, or those that do?

Because you made a rather broad, inaccurate statement about atheists.

If I asked why all the Christians I knew seemed rude and patronizing, would I not receive angry replies from them? (And they're not, by the way!)

Be careful how you phrase your questions -- all *anythings* are not alike!
