The most common symptoms include headaches, which can be most severe in the morning; nausea or vomiting, which can be most severe in the morning; seizures or convulsions; difficulty thinking, speaking, or finding words; personality changes; weakness or paralysis in one part or one side of the body; loss of balance; vision changes; confusion and disorientation; and memory loss. Different parts of the brain control different functions, so symptoms will vary depending on the tumor’s location.

While these are the most common symptoms of a brain tumor, they can also indicate other medical problems. If you are having any of these symptoms, it is important to see your doctor and get a definitive diagnosis.

If you are concerned about yourself or someone else having a brain tumor than only a Cat-scan of the brain will tell. Usually a headache or uneven pupils of the eyes, sometimes dizziness or unable to walk straight are some symptoms. But as I mentioned earlier only a Cat-scan will show an abnormality then an MRI of the brain with contrast will give you the definite diagnosis.

Symptoms of brain tumors vary from patient to patient (headaches/accompanied by nausea/vomiting/ and sometimes seizure. Most people get headaches at sometime in their lives,so this is not always a definite sign of brain tumors. But if the headaches are different from those you ever had before you should mention it to your doctor, they may want to take a brain scan to see if you have a tumor.
