Put the sweater in the freezer. When the gum hardens, use a butter knife to scrape it off. You may need to put it back if the gum softens while working on it. Try to get as much out as possible this way then spot treat it with laundry detergent and pick off any remaining gum. Wash and dry as usual. Should be ok. Better the sweater than her hair.

Try taking an ice cube and rub it over the gum. When the gum becomes hard you will be able to pick it off. Good Luck

Ice does the trick by freezing the gum which can then be picked out...carefully. Slow process but if the top is worth it, so is the time.

Btw, if she ever gets it in her hair just use peanut butter...gooey but takes it out by breaking down the ingredients in the gum :)

Good luck

try rubbing alchohol or gasoline. They say hydrogen peroxide is a miracle. I hate gum but I love chewing it. maybe getting it cold with ice and combing up. hope one of the suggestion work. or you know my mom used peanut butter too, when it came to gum something about the oil.

Try "gu-be-gone" You can get it at walmarts in the cleaning section. It works good on getting the stickiness off of windows and stuff from stickers. So maybe itll help with the gum. Good luck!
