I really need to find this out but I do not own a male dog.

Hello Mike,
I too flipped my male dog over in order to find out the answer to this fascinating question. I have a Miniature Pointer, and I was able to locate six teats around his junk area.

Okay just to let you know I actually flipped my stud dog over to check but his belly is quit furry and I will not shave it...LOL I found 3 on each side before you get to the rib cage. Did not feel any on the rib cage unlike my Female dogs that have 10...5 on each side w/ a set of 2 on the rib cage. Hope this helps. I have Pembroke Welsh Corgis.

They have the # girl dogs have, which is 8 i think
