No, it wasn't God. I am truly sorry for your losses and pain. I would definitely be angry at him too. But it wasn't the work of the devil either. You and your family were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was nothing personal. If he wanted your family dead, he would strike them all dead. Most accidents have a cause, and what makes it an accident is lack of intent. As for your house, that kinda stuff happens everyday. You cannot predict that either. Have faith that there are bigger, better things for you. Do not wallow in your grief. Stand strong and everything will be okay.

My interpretation on this subject is not that God let the devil "loose" on us. Lucifer was first an Angel. However when commiting the son of vanity thinking himself to be better than God
he was cast into the underworld and has since waged war for peoples souls. Thus when in the garden of Eden he decieved Eve and she ate the forbidden fruit sin was upon the all the people that would follow her. All pain and suffering come from that moment. That is what is in the story of the bible however i feel that god is not an all powerful being but exist in kindness. And that everyone is capable of god like actions as well as being tempted into doing things we know are wrong (devil).

God made a mistake, big time. Coke made a similar mistake. In the 1920's Pepsi went bankrupt and Coke had an opportunity to buy them and they said, "No". Pepsi came back to be their biggest competitior. The Devil is God's biggest competitor, He blew it.

The problem of evil is one of the most potent objection to the existence of God.
The argument goes something like this.
God is all powerful. God is all good (by definition)
An all powerful being can destroy evil.( definiton of all powerful)
An all good person wants to destroy evil.( definition of all good)
But at least one evil exists.( say torturing babies)
Therefore an all powerful, all good God cannot exist.

Maybe God is Good but not all powerful. He wants to stop evil but can't. Or maybe god is all powerful but not so good. Think about that and decide which one you want to be mad at or live with.

yo, don't blame god, there is no god, doncha get it, everything is random...god is a marketing device used by priests, minister, mullahs, and rabbais to make money and ensure that they have as cushy a life as possible. the problem is, most people are too stupid to figure out why things happen for themselves, so they let someone tell them god did it, or the explanation is in some book people pretend god wrote.
