It depends on the guy. He says he will wait, but does he make you feel uncomfortable about your decision to wait? Or can you still be at ease around him even when the subject arises?
If he makes you feel uncomfortable than chances are he doesn't really mean it.
Just remember that you don't have to sex with anyone if you are not ready. Even if he does mean what he says and turns out to be a nice guy that's no reason to sleep with him. Imagine if you slept with all the nice guys you have ever know. Things could get scary/ ha ha. I'm not saying you have to be a total prude and never sleep with anyone, just be sure you know that is what you really want before you do it.

Yes, he'll wait. Will he want it regardless? You bet. Will he think about it all the time? Definitely. The most important thing you need to look at are his actions:
Is he making you feel bad about your decision?
Does he threaten to date other girls more willing?
Does he try to push things further when you're making out?
If these questions can all be very confidently answered with a NO, then congrats! You have a GREAT guy, with lots of respect and integrity on his side. That doesn't mean he is now asexual and offically doesn't think about having sex with you all the time. It just means he can restrain himself because he cares about you too much.
Good luck! Keep waiting, you'll know when its right!

Well this is a tricky one but to me it sounds like your boyfriend is putting all the pressure on you saying "im waiting so whenever your ready" ... but it really depends upon your boyfriend and what type of person he is, i could be very wrong. The best thing you can do is wait until you are really ready, see if he sticks around, if he doesnt he's not worth it!

he could be making you think what a wonderful boyfriend he is, so you do sleep with him. reverse psychology kind of thing. Some guys will mean it and be interested in you. But thinking about it, why would you say that if you really would wait, i think it would play out better if he was just waiting instead of telling you what he was doing. Wait and see what else he does.

If he says he'll wait, he'll wait. He might not be the happiest about it but you have to realize that the fact that he says he'll wait means that he will wait. He isn't going to go against you because he really cares about your morals and that matters. I think he probably wants to have sex, but he is willing to wait for you. Take it for what it is, and don't do it until you're ready, because he's willing to wait for you.

It depends on the guy. Don't worry about it unless he tries to push you into something you're not ready for. There are many sensative males out there. It's possible you have one of the few.

He means it, but he thinking that he will be able to entice you to be ready very shortly.
OH, and just for the record, most guys are not going to consider you their gf until you do have sex. Until then your just a girl that doesn't have sex with him (sort of like all the other girls he knows).

dont get involved too much with a boyfriend because even the best of men will have their bad moments because their bodies crave sex.
I'd know. Im a guy, and ive read books on the subject.
In other words, he may mean it but time changes people.

It depends how he feels about you. Sometimes when they say, I'll wait, it really means, I'm moving on.
