That always made sense to me. My grandpa says the Sages say he shouldn't have more than 4 but I was reading on this website that men could have as many wives as he could afford. Its always troubling to me when I hear conflicting ideas by religious leaders but I think my husband is right. I just want to see what others think.

well i dont think they would get away with having 24 wifes in this country and when God made Eve from Adam rib God thought one was enough for him i would be Happy to have one wife when i have none. king soloman had over 900 wifes and he surly doesnt have that many ribs i dont agree i think one is all a man needs his soul mate 1

No it's not a good idea. It costs too much to take care of them. There will be more arguing and fighting with the kids and the many wives.
