For two days, you would eat nothing. You would drink juice only. Then for a week you would drink only water with a few drops of lemon juice.

No. I've fasted for 10 days without problem. You feel weak at first but then you get an amazing energy. If I didn't love food so much I might never have eaten again.

The question is, why would you do that?
A fast as a spiritual discipline is fine, but if it compromises the health of the body you have been so graciously given, why would you damage it? I hava an incurable disease and am thankful for any few minutes that I feel OK. I cannot imagine risking your health. That is an insult to the creator.

It is seriously not good for you. Can you add a little non sweetened gelatin to the water and lemon? It would be just a little bit of protein to try to hold blood sugar.

no the only permanant damage is death. nothing serious.

look, that is not fasting. fasting is a way to get closer to god spitually. you shuould fast by getting rid of all meats for a week, and drinking only water. go vegan for a week or something. but dont starve yourself.

nope....fasting is good for us...it will give our body time to detoxify and repair itself...because our body doesn't have to produce enzymes for digesting food the enzymes will be used in detoxifying and repairing our systems...just drink a glass of water when you feel hungry to dillute your gastric juice to prevent ulceration...

If you were perfectly healthy, then the amount of time in question would not do you any harm.
