I joined eHarmony back in September and have had a great experience with it. Yes, it is a lot of money, but for me, I was looking for a serious relationship, not just someone to have a brief fling with.

I met someone through eHarmony. We're not officially together, but we're definitely headed in that direction. He's a really sweet guy and we have SO much in common. He's the person I've been looking for. He's worth the money I spent to use the site, and so much more! :)

yeah... aparently i'm the one in 5 i think it was that cannot be matched at this time... i tried again 2 years later... still cannot be matched... i think its kind of boougus... they match people on personatlity types and either i don't fit a profile or my type is not matchable... so it seems like there is a flaw in there matching if you ask me. one in 5 is kind of a lot... thats a lot of matches that could be missedo out on you know?... also evne though no one likes to say it looks are important not saying people have to be hot they just have to be hot to each other and eharomony seems to not be intue to this idea. but i did have a friend who met a girl on there that he was crazy about they were talking marriage last i heard... although they'd only been together 3 months... little soon in my book.

I believe that e-harmony because it is expensive to join is a place where people are really serious about wanting to be in a relationship. My friend tried it and she is now married to the first guy that she met on that sight.

However, e-harmony is not a good sight to go if you are gay.

I tried it and really didnt get much out of it. None of the guys I was paired with really appealed to me.

I have heard more good things about MySpace, which isnt really a dating site, but a lot of folks seem to get together using it and its free.

Either way, good luck.

I've heard more negative than positive...for some people, especially those without strong religious beliefs, it will tell them there are no matches...

The site seems biased toward and away from certain types of people...

yes my Brother in law tried it and he said it is not what it is cracked up to be.You go through all the question and then meet someone you think you would like and then they change there mind. It's not worth the money he says.
