hark the herald angel sing,
o holy night,
ti came upon a midnight clear,
we didn't know who you were,
Mary's song,
drummer boy,
joy to the world.
I am that I am.

Don't let them take Christ out of Christmas! Do this:
Wanna have some fun this CHRISTMAS? Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD!
As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice, CHRISTIAN, card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world.
Make sure it says "Merry Christmas" on it.
Here's the Address, just don't be rude or crude.
(It's Not the Christian Way, ya know?)
ACLU
125 Broad Street
18th Floor
New York, NY 10004
Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions.. So spend 39 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a Holiday Tree. . . . It's a Christmas Tree!
Send to your e-mail buddies too!

Thats so true, and it reflects on the simple fact that Christmas has moved far far away from its true meaning. Im not a christian, but I do know that it is suppose to be a celebration of the birth of Christ. Now, its a celebration of gifts and greed for the most part. Christians need to get back to the real reason they have this massive holiday. Im Jewish, we celebrate Hannakuh, and never has it swayed from the reason it is celebrated. The only thing that has changed is that we now give gifts to our kids so that they dont feel left out of the big "to do" of gifts for christmas.

That is because you are confusing carolls with Christmas songs. Two different genres all together. A caroll should be compared to something like a hymn a Christmas song is just a commercially produced song that sings about the feeling of Christmas.

Because most of the songs you are thinking of are for children's cartoons. Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman are not church hymnals. There are, however, plenty of hymnals about Christ's birth.

Joy to the World, the Lord has come!
The first Noel, the angels did say!
Oh holy night, the stars are brightly shining, this is the night of our dear savior's birth...
We three kings of orient are, bearing gifts, we travel afar,
And of course, the bible put to music, one of the most beautiful arias ever written about Jesus Christ: Handel's "Messiah".

political correctness. People don't want to offend others so God and Jesus have been taken out of most Christmas Carols
