For new cameras B&H and Adorama (who is selling most of the cameras sold on Amazon, btw) are very well regarded (http://www.bhphotovideo.com and http://www.adorama.com). http://www.cametaauctions.com are one of the most highly regarded sellers on E-bay (if you like the thrill of auctioneering ;) ). For used cameras (and, especially, lenses) http://www.keh.com are top notch.

There's also Samy's Camera (http://www.samys.com/)... And lots of others. The general rule holds though - if you see a camera offered hudreds of dollars cheaper than it should cost - don't bother. Avoid places like Royal Camera (with all its' aliases). And always check ratings at http://www.resellerratings.com .

Good luck,
Stas.

Try amazon, they do loads of refurbed stuff, from manufacturers with warranty thrown in, or ebay, but people pay silly prices for old cameras.

i usually do my research on Amazon.com, then check a variety of sites for prices, and buy where it's the best value... That's how I just bought my new Fuji F30
