I recently installed Internet Explorer 7.0 on my computer and I am running Windows XP, and my ISP is Comcast Cable and they give McAfee Security and Privacy Protection free with the cable modem service and when I changed over to Internet Explorer 7.0, my McAfee Antivirus kept right on working with NO MODIFICATIONS from me. So the answer is yes, most definitely. Of course, some web sites are not compatible with IE 7.0 yet as I have been finding out by experience such as the iwon.com Prize Machine is not compatible yet.

Yes. When you instal IE 7 it comes with an up-dated verson of mcafee security so that means it's compadable. Although I downloaded in the alpha testing phase (I have connections that let me get IE 7 this earlie in the process) so I don't know weather or not it still comes with it. I have up-dated my IE 7 and my version of mcafee security works fine.
