We dont want to ruin our previous relationship, if its friend or not with them. We want to still be friends if it doesnt work out, but they usually look at you differently.

Usually it's because we are afraid the person will reject the idea, which in turn will embarrass us. So sometimes we hum & haw about it, and 9 times out of ten, we don't "get" rejected at all, so those rediculous feelings were self inflicted for nothing! Right?

REJECTION! We as natural human beings fear rejection and hate to be embarrassed or let someone know of our true feelings if they don't reciprocate the same feelings.
