I have a new mobile phone which takes MPG4 and 3GPP video files and I want to insert them in to a Powerpoint presentration but can only do so by hyperlink which is not smooth. Do I have to convert these files to WAV or other more powerpoint friendly files or can I somehow insert them in thier current form in to the Powerpoint presentation? Is there any free downloads for converting the files?

If you want to convert them into another format ( mobile phone, iPods, mp4...and anything else) use this awesome free program called Super http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

If there's a way to do it without converting them to wav, I'd LOVE to know. I do a weekly presentation and I always have to convert from aac (Apple) to wav (generally easy in iTunes, as long as it's a song I have on CD and not a song I downloaded).

I understand there is software you can buy (and probably freeware you can download), but I just make a CD, then transfer the file to another computer where iTunes imports it as wav.

Well
There are many audio converters / rippers on the market. My favourite is Total Audio Converter cause it supports all main formats and it's very light. Link here http://j.mp/1sW2jmt
It's a really nice software.
Bye Bye
