it can be cooked the day ahead of time. After it is cooked, you need to cool it down as quickly as possibe to below 40 degrees. 40-120 degrees is the ideal range of bacteria. Refrigerate immediately. Next day, remove from fridge, let stand at room temp for 45 min. then into a hot 400 degree oven covered with foil with a little bit of water in pan and heat up to 165 degrees for at least 2 minutes (kills bacteria) and you will be set to go. you can also debone the turkey into the pasrts and reheat that way also and use the bones for your stock to make gravy.bon appetite

Yes, follow the directions and look in your cookbook as to how best to store it. You can go to Zackey or Butterball site and get all the information you want. I do like the smell of the bird in the house on Thanksgiving day. Yummy.

You can cook it the day ahead as long as you keep it refrigerated. Reheating will probably dry it out though. If you want to serve it cold it should be fine.

No, absolutely not. The reason is because you will not want to wait until the next day and will eat it that same day.
