I feel like I'm already a mature man at age 26. I've never treated dating as "playing the field". I once heard that view of dating described like buying a car - "I want this color, not too old, not too many miles". I think it should be much more than that. I thought the point of dating was to find that special someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. (I'll admit to being a romantic.) I don't understand why some men cheat. It's disrespecting the woman, plus shooting yourself in the foot. If you have a good relationship, why ruin it? The same goes for womanizing. Why move from one woman to another before you even get to know the first one? I think things would be a lot better if all of us treated each other with the respect we deserve instead of treating each other as goods that we are trying to buy with cards and chocolates and dinners.

There's nothing juvenile about playing the field, as long as they are honest about it. Some people simply choose not to settle down with one person...there's nothing wrong with that.

With age often comes maturity, but not always...some people never have enough (maturity) and some get more than they should at a young age through events and experiences they shouldn't have had to go through...

Can a womanizer change? Sure...if he wants to...but if he's happy with his life as it is, why should he (from his point of view)?

Men will stop playing the field when they feel like they are with the right girl. Who knows when that will be. Whether a guy is 20 or 60 he will still seem immature at times. A womanizer probably won't change, but you can always hope they will.

A man never grows up..
To stop playing the field they just get to old and tired to go out and chase it.
they never mature
don't know if a womanizer ever changes they just stop going out so i guess that is when they are over it..
good question here.

They never grow up, thats why Im building a man robot. I'll send ya the protoype.

Can a womanizer change? Yes, but not by choice. One day they will meet a woman who intrigues them like no other & hopefully she will dog him like he did other ladies. Yikes, do I sound bitter? lol

NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It makes me rather sad :(

I think some guys are just more mature than others, some men into their 40's still act as if they are a teenager chasing many women at once!

I feel once a womanizer, always a womanizer, just like a cheater! Once a cheater, always a cheater.

Sorry, but it's their own damn fault if they behave in such childish ways!
