ok im going to the grandparents house tomorrow and its 8 hours away. were driving! what are some good things to take in the car so i dont die from boredom in the car and at my grandparents house?

board games
laptop (internet at your grandparent's home)
sports equipment
music player
a good pillow (so that you can sleep comfy)
home cooked food

that is terrible .you go on a trip and already decided that you are going to be bored .
change your attitude .
look out the window oin the way.
,check out the country side ,
and when you get there ,talk to the folks
and walk around their place check it all out
,that is why people travel ,to learn things and to see things
not to read a book or watch TV.
Shame on you.
the best thing you can bring is a present for your grandma ,and grandpa
that is the right thing to do.

camera - take photos on the way and at their home
music - listen while you're driving and at their home
book - to read if they have no cable or just doesn't like the programs
cellphone - for emergency or chat with your friend
some snack/drink - to eat and keep you awake

here are some suggestions:
burn cds, bring a laptop or portable dvd player, buy magazines, scrounge up an old game boy, a manicure kit..
