I just bought a Cucumber and I cut it up in Circle Slices so I can put them on my sandwhich, but I have a question.

1)Even though I just cut them up, how can I prevent them from turning brown?

2)How do you make a Baked Potatoe? I have severval large potatoes but I'm only fixing one. I wanted to rub Olive Oil on the Potatoe and wrap it in foil paper then place it in the oven. Can I do that?

Cucumber turning brown? Hmmm, don't know.

You can rub the oil into the potato but, DO NOT wrap it in foil. Danger of bacteria forming and making you very sick. Better to wash it and roll in sea salt before baking.
. STEP 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. STEP 2: Scrub potatoes under warm water using a vegetable brush. STEP 3: With a fork, poke holes about 1/2 inch deep in each potato. (You only need to do this three or four times.) STEP 4: Place the potatoes on the oven's middle rack, spaced evenly. "Do not wrap them in foil". STEP 5: Bake about 1 hour. Smaller potatoes may take less time. Larger potatoes may take more time. You want the potato nice and soft. STEP 6: After about 40 minutes, poke the potatoes with a fork to test their progress. STEP 7: When tender, carefully remove the potatoes from the oven, cut lengthwise and serve immediately.

Cucumber-prevent browning by splashing it with some lemon juice.

Baked Potato-yes olive oil and a little salt and then aluminum foil will work fine in the oven. Potato will take a while depending on size. You may want to poke holes in it before you wrap it with foil.

i didn't know that cucumbers turn brown but you can try putting just a little bit of lemon juice on them, it stops things from oxidizing.

poke a few holes in the baked potato and yep, just throw it in the oven. you can also cook it in the microwave but you have to wrap it in wet paper towels. anwyay. good luck with your meal.
