guys usually do a status check when they are interested.. they don't care if you are single or not if they aren't interested. doesn't nessacerally mean he wants a relationship either, he could just want to screw around.. depends on the person. but it is a sign of interest

it depends... do you like him?
if you do... then this could be good news.... since no guy asks just to be curious...
unless, he already has a girlfriend or is just your long time friend....
if you don't... then it doesn't matter.... since he'll get the message sooner or later...
and if he already knows you like him.... then he's totally interested... cuz if he wasn't, he wouldn't waste his time asking the girl who has a crush on him... trust me
but if a guy gets serious, usually, they wanna make sure you're single first...

well when i ask guys if they have girlfriends its because i might be interested in dating them but its not a sure thing. so if he asks you that then he wants to get to know you more cuz he thinks it would be nice to give you a try but it doesnt mean he for sure wants to get with you.

It really depends. Sometimes it is because he likes you, other times it is because he wants to know whether or not your boyfriend would feel threatened by you and him being friends.

Yes, either he is interested or one of his friends is. Usually if you are older the guy is asking for himself, if you are younger and in school for instance he is probably asking for a friend. Have fun.
