Invisalign is not for teeth that are extremely crooked. It's for people who have teeth that are MILDLY not straight. No, you cannot see it, though, and they're pretty comfortable. They are about $3,000 without insurance, and you trade the trays out every two weeks.

The dentist will take a mold of your mouth, and then send it to invisalign. Invisalign will then send you all the trays that you need. It does work well, though.

My daughter is almost done with her treatment, and it took 11 months. You can't really notice unless you are really close. It's worked well for her. You should talk to your regular dentist and have them recommend someone to go to, and you should get a free consultation, because they don't work for everyone. The cost was $4500.

I had regular braces as an adult and didn't care who noticed. Schedule a consultation with an orthodontist and you'll get all your questions answered. Good luck.
