I have and loved it,it opened my eyes as well.
those people who seen it and say they don't like it it's because you finally seen you sins and deny them when Jesus was beat and died for your sins, you simply don't comprehand that this sinless being come from God and taken a payment for your sins if you repent and trust in him,there's no other explanation to that.

I didn't like it.
If the purpose was to convert people then it obviously didn't work. If the purpose was to show people what jesus went through, which I believe was, it did work, maybe a bit to the extreme. However, I don't think a movie should have been made about this because I think don't think people need a visual of Jesus bleeding and being tortured.

My husband and I did. I read it in the Bible but hubby never did. Jesus' pain and the reality of those times were heart breaking. And to realize that he did that for you and me! It opened our eyes all the more.

My teacher's parents goes to church with James Caviezel's Parents. And my old drama teacher knows him... but that's a different story.
