Please ask your family doctor to speak with your mom about importance of a consultation with a dermatologist, and for a referral to a good one in your area. I am sure, your mom will take you to your family doctor or you can go there yourself. For an advice on the treatment for acne and pimples--search above for best answers to these resolved questions. Good luck!

It is just acne but acne comes in many types. first..I know it may be hard but stop wearing make-up it will only make it worse. If you have an oily skin problem or just want to clear your face up...wash face three times a day with an oil free cleanser followed by a facial scrub(it's grainy with pumice and comes in apricot) then wipe with a cotton swap doused in rubbing alcohol(careful not to get in eyes) follow up with a light moisturizer with an SPF of 15. Keep up until your face is cleared up! The doctor would tell you to try the same thing before prescribing you anything at all.

then ask to talk to your family doctor about it. You may need a refferal for a dermetologust. Acne can be caused by hormones and it can be treated, its not just a matter of just keeping your face clean. You can be given topical creams or even antibiotics. Your famliy doctor can prescribe these and it might save you a trip to a specialist. If you have acne that scars, you should see a Dr, there is no reason to suffer with this problem in this day and age.

Go to drug store and purchase many types of facial cleaning scrubs but ask the counter person for advice. KEEP CLEAN AND DON'T EAT AS MUCH GREASY OR OILY FOODS if possible. Cleaning many times a day helps. But start telling parents that if not treated it could limit job opportunities in the future. It may in some rare cases but it is a shot. The good jobs the US military offers especially as officers are sometimes limited due to some skin problems. That would have to be medically determined but if your a good younger person I sure you can exaggerate and cry a little. Good luck.

What is your diet like, do you drink sodas, cordials, etc... do you eat junk foods like any processed and manufactured foods. Do you apply creams and moisturisers to your face, do you wear SPF etc... If you answered yes then this is where your problem lies. I agree with your mother, you don't need a dermatologist, you need to eat more fresh fruit & vegetables, stop applying highly toxic (and therefore bad for your skin) creams and moisturisers they contain some of the most dreadful and harmful chemicals known. Keep your hands away from your face and please stop picking them. I know its hard but it works.

It's expensive especially if she does not have insurance. Be sure to wash your face three times a day with acne soap. Do not use cover up, it just makes it worse.

I don't think there is a way if she's already made up her mind. Just cry to her & tell her how sad you are because the other kids pick on you about it. Cry in your room & let her catch you. That always worked for me.

Do the footwork - find a dermatologist and make the appointment. Then ask your mom to take you.
