My daddy makes the best hotdogs. He uses Nathan's Brand
McDonalds works the hamburgers though.

Hot dogs:
The Rootbeer Stand....it is a seasonal place though (its not a sit in restaurant or anything) and is only open during the summer.
Burgers:
Dixie cafe. Been in my town ever since the rail road first came here and bringing business. Burgers aren't their specialty though, but they are very good.

Hot dogs at the ball park always taste the best, but no one makes Burgers like In and Out. Their fries are also the bom...made from real potatoes fried right on the spot! Yum! Now you've made me hungry.

i enjoy "fat burger" specifically their turkey burger, they are a chain that is located nationally. not sure about hotdogs. i don't eat them much.
