It is a Tylenol. My girlfriend takes them. They are prescribed to her by her doctor. I have one right here on my desk.
The number 500 is the milligram.

First off don't believe the person that stated it was Tylenol.

Firstly, as a nursing student with a Davis's Drug Guide sitting in front of me I can find no form of Tylenol (generic or otherwise) that's fits this description.

With that having been said, It could not be pictured in here and that person *may* be correct. And now with THAT having been said, let me state that claiming to know what medication it is with such subjective data is nothing short of foolish. They were correct about the 500 being the mg, beyond that they know little if anything.

Please check the drugs.com pill identification wizard: http://www.drugs.com/pill_identification.html

If that doesn't yeild any results then take a trip to your local pharmacy and have it looked up there. In fact take it there to validate your findings even if you do locate it. There are literally thousands upon thousands of medications, and they can look drastically different depending on the dosage. Likewise, there are plenty of medications that look and/or sound the same that aren't. Consult a professional before bringing the hammer down on your daughter...hell it could be an antiacid :p

Honey...ask your doctor for a Liquid, or Chewable. I can't swallow pills either, and I am 42. So you can tell your MOM to stop yelling at you, because there are TONS Of people who can't swallow pills. You aren't an Oddball. If the pills are Choppable, chop them up and put them with applesauce. That is what I have been doing for 13 years and my doctor has no problem with it. You are used to chewing your food and then swallowing, which makes swallowing a "Whole Pill" all the more difficult for you. It's not "All in your head", so tell your mother all her yelling and ranting is not doing her or YOU Any good.

I tried to identify it for you but came up empty handed. Since you have it in front of you go to this website of illicit drugs and see if you can find it. They show pictures and the drugs are categorize by type of drug it is.

If you call your local hospital, they should have a database to look that up for you.
