well from my experience usually if he ends back up w/ her its because he realises how much she really means to her and that he really misses her. I know when it happened to me like everything would just bring back memories of the good times we had together.

The most importat thing about loving someone is accepting every part of them - the good and the bad - without trying to change them. There are many things about my parter that I do not like (he is very outgoing and adventurous and quite a daredevil, which scares the crap out of me sometimes), but because I love him, I want him to be exactly who he is.
