like the best of friends. He is extremely smart, very good looking, a perfect gentleman and I could best describe him as the strong silent type. But I have finally admitted to myself and friends I love him. I know I do because I have thought I was in love before and since I met him, I felt something I never felt before. It has lasted for about two years now while we were together and while he was away. When his buddies found out they told him.He confronted me about it. He said he liked me a lot, he always had, and he wanted to ask me out as more than just a friend for a long time. The problem is he didn’t want me to go threw any hardship if he were to get killed over seas.
You see he is in the Navy Seals and is in harms way a lot. Plus I lost my cousin while she was in Afghanistan. She was in the army.I was close to her.
He is over seas now, but will be back for christmas, so when he gets here how do i tell him i love him, and want to take that chance!

hi, take it from me, i too have had a boyfriend in the navy.
he ended up breaking up with me by email when he was out on his ship.
he said "if the navy wanted me to have a girlfriend, i would have been issued with one"... and he is exactly right.
its too hard to maintain a relationship when they can go away for months at a time.
please be careful, i can only see your heart getting broken

If u love him definetly let him know, and if its mutal and u decide to marry its gonna be hard as a military spouse but its doable
